#CHALLENGE: THE IDEAL WALK
I started in this world of dog training when I had my first Argentinean bulldog: Max. From the beginning I wanted to give him the best and train him to be “the perfect dog”… and as he trained me, informed me and gained experience, I realized that “the perfect dog” does not exist, that each dog is a world, with their own tastes, predispositions, impulses, strengths and weaknesses… and that more than “training”, dogs need education. An empathic, friendly and up-to-date education, without causing physical or emotional harm, and using non-aversive techniques.
The more we insist on wanting our dog to be the stereotype of “obedient” dog that TV shows and movies always made us crave, the more frustrated we will end up. Because? Because focusing only on the problem behavior is only taking into account the tip of the iceberg.
Behind a behavior there are many factors to take into account: environment, stress level, daily routine, unsatisfied needs, genetics, relationship with your tutor, previous experiences and learning, emotional state… etc.
I do not believe in “obedient” dogs, I believe in dogs that have the ability to manage themselves in the best way in multiple environments, but above all, in tutors who understand their dog, know how to interpret how it feels, what it needs, and can communicate correctly with him and they know when, how and what to demand of him.
And here we are no longer talking about obedience or disobedience, but about a healthy coexistence, and, above all, knowing how to HELP the dog to better manage difficult situations. After all, I think a dog that decides well is worth much more than a dog that follows orders.
I would love to help you and your dog to be a better team, to understand each other and live together better, always looking after the well-being of your dog and considering every aspect of his life.

I am a behavior management specialist and passionate
of both sporting and civil obedience.
I have always been a lover of dogs and animals in general, but I became interested in dog training with the first member of the Dobie Team: Boss. I had already had Dobermans at home before, but they were more the typical house dog that walked in the garden and because they had wide spaces they hardly went for a walk. When Boss arrived, I was determined to make him an exemplary dog, somehow I told my parents that I would breed the “perfect dog” to show everyone that strong breed dogs can be balanced and manage perfectly in an environment daily.
With the passage of time, and as more members joined the Dobie Team, I realized that each dog is unique, each one comes into the world with its own attributes and defects, and even though we follow the “same path” when educating them, we will see that each one is different, they come to leave us a message and teach us different things. What we can affirm is that they all come to offer us the same love.
My work philosophy is to help you understand about them, to know that just like humans, they have needs, they get stressed, they feel, perceive and more. We seek a healthy coexistence, with mutual understanding, where you know how to communicate properly and can help your dog in the best way to solve “problems” or improve the bond.
My main interest is that your dog learns to manage himself, so that he is able to make the right decisions in the various situations that he may face in his day to day. I am also a firm believer that good management facilitates obedience, and if you have personal or sporting goals, you should always start with good management.
We prioritize the integral well-being of your dog and consider all aspects of his life. We make use of methodologies with scientific support, using the LIMA technique (Least Intrusive; Minimally Aversive) and following IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants) parameters.
